Kirirom is “happy mountain” in Khmer. It is a hidden resort located deep in the mountains, about 2 hours drive from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, but is visited by tens of thousands of people every year.

I myself originally worked as a company employee in Japan, but through various opportunities, I was completely attracted to Kirirom’s relaxed environment.

At first, I was concerned about the image of civil war and safety, but there is a lot of nature, clean air, safety is good, and people are friendly. And the food is delicious. It was a very good environment, different from what I had imagined.

After a series of fortunate events, I became the general manager of V Kirirom Pineapple Resort in 2012. It is a lot of work, but together with the local people and the Cambodian people I work with, we continue to make improvements every day so that our guests can enjoy their stay as much as possible and be as comfortable as possible.
