Kakegawa Pork

The fat of Kakegawa pork is very healthy with a high content of unsaturated fatty acids (the same component as olive oil).

The cattle are fattened exclusively on sterilized yeast-fermented feed and are free of antibiotics and chemicals.


Low in animal fat and high in healthy unsaturated fatty acid content, it offers a sweet and healthy texture.

It is soft and fine-textured, without the distinctive smell of pork, and is popular for its juicy texture with plenty of meat juices.
